Gamla Uppsala

It was another beautiful Sunday so we decided to walk to Old Uppsala along with many other Uppsalites. The trail turned out to be 3km, not 15km like I thought it would be (don't know where I got that number from). The trail was icy, the sky was blue and in the distance were several burial mounds. We finally felt like we fit in with our Phil and Ted's--Prague was a little too chic for our sporty stroller. There are other sights in Old Uppsala that we saved to explore in the future--the museum, Old Uppsala Church, and Odinsborg restaurant where they make mead. Here is a picture of the trail and mounds.
