Although none of us discussed it beforehand, it turned out to be bring-a-family-member-to-BabySim-class-day today as there were several grandparents, aunts, dads, etc. Josh took fabulous pictures and movies so I will let them speak for themselves, except to say that Ben is kicking way more than he did last week.
As for the doctor's appointment--we did not get the vaccination today, but the doctor and district nurse are consulting the Swedish panel of experts who decide when to give vaccines to babies who have arrived from other countries. We have an appointment with the district nurse scheduled for March 12 and will find out more then. Josh and I are OK with this because it wasn't just a pat "that's not what we do here" answer. Ben is 15.5 lbs--a bit less than average for weight, but we all know that those charts are based on formula fed babies. Ben was pretty happy at the appointment--he got to suck on a lego and he thought that the doctor was tickling him when she checked his hips. All in all, a good day.

Wow, that's the best set of photos/videos yet! There's nothing like a Duckie motivated baby to take mommy to the deep end!
I must say that there's nothing like a pool full of happy babies to gladden the heart. OK,OK, pictures of gorgeous cardamom cookies comes in a close second!
We're good here and enjoying a few days of sun.
Love you guys, Jim
P.S. Hey, Ben, Nancy wants to know where you got the cool swim trunks - I think she wants to get me some!
